I would recommend MOTAT because you can see massive old machinery that they used during the 18’s-19’s and the evolution of technology, plus there is an invention centre with crazy and wacky ideas. Trains and trams can be spotted around MOTAT that they used to use for transporting people and goods around city, towns or transporting goods to ships so they can load it on and ship the goods to other country’s,

What we learnt from Mountain to Sea and The Blake Foundation and Kelly Tarltons was a lot of things about keeping our sea ecosystem healthy and safe. I did enjoyed looking at sea animals with Vr from the Blake Foundation, and Roleplaying with the Mountain to Sea food web, I got picked as a Fur seal and had to connect with what I could eat and what could eat me, at Kelly Tarlton’s we got to see lots of sea animals even penguins, it was cool because it was my first time going to Kelly Tarlton’s. What I didn’t enjoy was that all of the Marine Life lessons was long that made me tired, but I still liked it.

What are you sharing?

I am sharing about the Disney movie called ‘ Frozen ‘ about one older sister and one younger sister including  their culture, which the older one  had magical powers and the younger one had none. 

Why is this important OR What did you learn?

Don’t judge a book by its cover if it looks very dangerous, love can fix anything, Anna and Else were separated because one early morning Anna and Else were playing without their parents noticing and Anna was going to fast and Else accidentally shot Anna with her magical powers which struck her head leaving a part of her hair white as a mark, which the parents found out and the parents took her to a place where trolls were disguised as rocks and the elder of the trolls healed her and erased her memorise of Else having magic.

All of Ruapotaka students and teachers were preparing to go to the 2022 Film festival and it was my first time going to this event, other schools were preparing to go to the Film festival too and some schools went already and were returning back to schools, it took 3 hours because there was a lot of rooms from different schools that did their own films. It was fun after all those films and we headed back to school.

I was finally back at Ruapotaka school and every student was back as well and was ready to learn, our class had a relief teacher because our main teacher was at one of his family member’s funeral for a little while, so we started off learning about the culture of Niue since it was Niue language week. We wrote in our discovery books 1-20 in Niue, months in Niue drawings and  name all the villages in Niue to hand in to Mrs Hamiltin so we could get picked for the best Niue language week title page but there was only 3 students to be picked out of 19. Now we started to get back to work on the usual subjects that we would do.
